Redmitten padded over, her beautiful lustrous pelt shining. She purred to Vengeance, "Come on, training's over." Her beautiful eyes scanned him; He was ragged, small, crushed beneath a bear, but kinda cute. She flicked her furry tail over the apprentice den.
Redmitten padded over and mewed to Vengeance, "Wanna come hunting with me?" Her beautiful eyes shone in a way that made it hard for him to say no, and she flicked her tail over to an empty desert space. "If you wanna, come over here." She padded over to the empty place and waited to see if he was coming
She padded to him and mewed, "I'll see you later, cutie."
She bounded out of camp with Vengeance by her side and snatched up a kangaroo rat. "For you." She mewed, putting the creature at his paws
A lustrous reddish she-cat with black along her shoulders padded over, flicking her shaggy tail. She paused for a moment to glare at Tess when she saw her next to Vengeance and mewed, "Uh, who're you and what are you doing with him?" Her eyes glimmered angrily and her lustrous pelt bristled
Redmitten mewed, "I'm Redmitten. I don't believe I've had the displeasure to meet you." She glared at Tila and growled angrily
Redmitten snarled, "Not until SHE gets out of here!" She curled her tail around Vengeance's paws

Redmitten lay in the nursery, feeling kicks in her belly. each one was closer than the last, and finally she grabbed a stick and bit down on it to hold the pain. She and Vengeance were having their first litter, and she was glad Tila was nowhere near here, because she felt that little mouse-brain was trying to slip Vengeance away from her. She bit down harder and thought, Cr*p, when they get out, I'm gonna kill them! Though she knew she wouldn't. Very few mothers could actually say that and MEAN it. she bit down on the stick again and thought, feels like they're trying to SCRATCH through me...
Redmitten peered at the gathering over cats. she heard one of them say Vengeance's name and nearly leaped out of her fur- they were trying to put Vengeance in the Pit? she didn't know what the Pit was, and neither did Vengeance, but she knew it was very bad. She called, "Vengeance? Where are you going?" out and rushed over near the group of cats. "VENGEANCE!" She cried in an agonizing wail

Redmitten bit down hard on the stick, snapping it in half. She nosed the small kit towards her curved body, licking clean the small creature and grabbing the stick again, knowing that more are coming
Redmitten glanced at the cats- she didn't care if they called Vengeance a coward, she was just happy they wouldn't chase him, even though they thought he wasn't worth the time.

Redmitten sniffed the kits and nuzzled them lovingly
